I partner with families to help their disengaged teen develop the skills and strategies they need to become empowered, independent, and successful.

What is Life Coaching?

Tony Robbins, perhaps one of the most well-known life coaches, says it best: “Life coach[ing is working with] someone professionally trained to help you maximize your full potential and reach your desired results. They are like a supportive friend and a trusted adviser rolled into one. They’re someone who will push you to identify your goals, hold you accountable and provide encouragement throughout your journey to become a better version of yourself.”

Personalized to You and Your Family

Every family is different, and every teenager comes with their own sets of strengths, weaknesses, and challenges to overcome. As a coach, I work with your family on the areas that you feel need the most attention; you (and/or your teen) drive this train. It is my joy to develop trusting relationships with parents/guardians along with their teen(s), so that I can coach the teen toward personal growth while also guiding the parents/guardians toward successful and sustainable parenting and coaching strategies. This is a partnership, and partnering with your family is my utmost privilege.

Results-Oriented

As a life coach, I am trained to work with individuals to identify their goals for coaching, help them come up with a process for working towards achieving those goals, and then hold them accountable and encourage them along the way. I am on a mission to help you and your teen develop the skills you all need to be successful — in relationships, in day-to-day life, in communication, in anything! — and to guide you as you begin to utilize those skills in real-time life and family situations. Coaching is a life-changing experience for everyone involved, in all the best ways.

How is Coaching different from Counseling or Therapy?

Coaching is meant to be complementary to counseling or therapy, not take its place. While counseling or therapy help the client examine WHY things have happened, as well as the behavioral or relational patterns that may contribute, coaching examines HOW to move forward practically and manageably, as well as providing support and accountability along the way.
